The Yate Youth Cafe, named Armadillo is an exciting new place for young people in Yate to hang out. Young people have been involved throughout its development, putting forward their ideas and views.
The cafe will become a national model as a venue where young people can meet friends, listen to bands and even learn about catering if they want to pursue a career in the industry. There will also be DJ decks and a music studio, together with a top class sound system. The cafe is open throughout the week and during school holidays.
The Yate Youth Cafe has been jointly funded by Yate Town Council and South Gloucestershire Council.
