Prime Furniture & Appliances is a small family run business with our latest showroom opening in Yate Shopping Centre, BS37 4AU.
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our store. If you have a passion for retail and enjoy interacting with customers, this role is perfect for you.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Upsell products to increase sales revenue
- Maintain a clean and organised store environment
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism
- Communicate effectively with customers
- Utilise basic maths skills for cash handling and inventory management
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service
- Strong organisational skills to manage inventory and store layout effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette when interacting with customers
- Capability to upsell products to enhance sales performance
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 28 per week
